Mission Statement                              

The mission of the York Fire Department is to prevent the loss of life, and to protect the property and environment for the citizens of the York Fire District. This will be accomplished using professional, knowledgeable and dedicated personnel. To provide fire suppression, emergency medical services, fire investigations, fire prevention, code enforcement and community education.

We pledge to deliver the highest achievable level of service in the most efficient manner possible, thus providing a fire service that is considered excellent by our community.
